What moves on the Probit & Logit Models diagram
Moving along the S-curve changes the local slope: marginal effects peak at the midpoint and vanish in the tails, which is why logit output needs an evaluation point.
A logit coefficient is NOT a constant effect: it depends where you evaluate it.
Slide the evaluation point up the score range.
The probability climbs the S-curve, quickly through the middle, then barely at all near the top.
The same one-point score gain is worth 5 points of probability in the middle and almost nothing in the tails. Always report where marginal effects were computed.
Examiners ask this as: evaluation point, marginal effect, different score level, where on the curve.
